(More customer reviews)This axe is very good quality for a cheap price. It is only about 2ft. long but the one blade is a good 6-8 inches. The blades are thick and not cheap, there is a slight edge on then at least sharp enough to do damage if it is swung hard enough. The handle is like a fake hardened leather type material. An the plaque is pretty cheap, but hey it works. Overall a good buy for any collection that needs a cool eyecatcher.

Hawk Hatchet Review

In depth:
I was looking for a light weight hatchet to take with me for a 3 day backpacking trip. I chose this one because it seemed to be the lightest one-piece hatchet on amazon (with the non-metal handle and all). The handle broke the second night out, while chopping wood for a camp fire. It was about 30 degrees Fahrenheit that night and the night before, so it's not like it was below zero temperatures that made it shatter. For the last night we were reduced to trying to pound the blade into wood with a rock, cave man style. I would not buy this again.

COLD STEEL TRENCH HAWK
Pro:Blade is made from Cobalt Steel
Con:Cobalt Steel can easily rust
Pro:The blade and spike design are definitely geared towards hunting
Con: The Trench Hawk is pretty limited to use in hunting only
Pro:The handle is sturdy polymer at 19" in length
Con:The handle has no textured grip
Pro:The Trench Hawk comes with a hardshell sheath that's really unique
Con:The sheath has no belt loopSOG TACTICAL TOMAHAWK
Pro:the sheath is button opened with a belt loop
Con:The sheath is made from nylon,a semi cheaply made sheath
Pro:The blade is made from stainless steel so it will not rust easily
Con:stainless steel is not as strong as cobalt steel
Pro:the spike is extended for greater reach
Con:the spike is not very sharp,needs a sharpening stone's touch
Pro:has a sturdy polymer handle with textured grip
Con: overall the tomahawk is 15 3/4" this could strike the user as small if you've carried larger tomahawks(but this could be a pro,depending on the user)
Pro:the vietnam tomahawk design allows it to be great for camping,hunting,and climbing-lots of uses,it's your swiss army knife's companion.
Con and Conclusion:The SOG is very sharp and can be used for hunting,but due to it's shorter handle and slightly less aggressive design it's recommended you keep it very sharp,if your only interest in a tomahawk is for brute force then go with the Cold Steel Trench Hawk.Personally, I bought both because I couldn't decide which one I liked better,they're both highly recommended!

As a bit of initial consumer advice I recommend when your going to buy a replica from an online store you look at all available options and choose the most expensive one.Why? You stand the best chance of getting something as close as possible in resemblance to what you want. That said, this sword is definitely choice when compared to other cheaper versions. In the product description it is mentioned several times that this blade is sharpened. Now I've been collecting swords for years and I know full well that Martial arts weapons with a fine edge are very expensive, so of course I didn't expect this one to be sharp at it's price, which of course it wasn't.Chinese swords however make for exellent practice tools for martial arts, mainly because their style requires much more focus on fighting it out rather than the goal of "one cut, one kill" style fighting that samurais focus on with katanas. Very difficult to master, but worth the price for a dull blade that is a licensed movie replica.

Trademark HUGE Full Tang Carbon Steel 18-Inch Kukri Machete Review

(More customer reviews)i believe this machete is over priced significantly. i don't believe any of the fabric/leather bits will last a seasons worth of wet, cheaply "cured". i work with steel for a living and i expected a little more heft on the blade for its size. for the price, the thing should have been 22" long at least. there's still a factory burr on the cutting edge showing a down and dirty manufacturing process. i was worried about it being too heavy for extended use, it's not cumbersome at all. though the spine is thick, the blade is quickly tapered to a manageable thickness and weight.
i'm going to keep it with some reservations that i should have given up a little length and several dollars and bought the ka-bar. i also believe i could have sacrificed some perceived "quality" and bought a 22" version cheaper and have been equally satisfied. would have given four stars but the price negated star number four, detracting from the item's value to my cheap self.

(More customer reviews)I bought this axe about three years ago and have used it a few hundred times since then. It works great with harder sticking surfaces and still shows minimal signs of use. It has aquired a few chips from landing on rocks on occasion. I know it's not made for cutting rocks, but at the speed it was traveling it did chip easier than other knives that I've owned. Still it is definitely worth what I paid for it. The only other reason I gave it four instead of five stars is the two tips on the top are not perfectly symmetrical. There is only a very slight difference in length, but it is enough to be noticed.

Cold Steel Gurkha Kukri Kraton Handle Review

(More customer reviews)this blade replaces the need to bring an axe, machete, or bowie knife. It does all the jobs in the woods. I highly reccommend it. I've put it through a ringer and it does not chip. However high carbon steel of this blade rust easy so take care to pour motor oil in the sheath so that it stays oiled. It is the right steel for the job however i wish cold steel would bring back the teflon coating of the original.
I do not recommend the san mi 3 version of this blade as my experiance with stainless is that it is too rigid and does not flex and this leads to chipping and an early "death" of the sword/blade.

When I saw this product online I thought that it was too good to be true. I was ecstatic to open the box and find a solid and polished replica. The replicators didn't skimp on style. It is the same size and shape as on the movies and it has some good weight behind it to let you know that it's not a cheap knock-off that'll fall to pieces if you bump it too hard. It's not too sharp (as expected) and it looks great on its included display stand. Excellent conversation piece. Would definitely recommend to any true Kill Bill fan or sword collector.
