(More customer reviews)i think this is a great little knife for the price this is a excellent purchase for a lady or someone with a small hand if you have large hands like me it is very impractical the handle is to small to be comfortable to hold but my girlfriends hand it is perfect for she has it for protection the only drawback is that the sheath it comes with is difficult to put the unit back in it but it comes out very easy the blades are curved and fetch up while putting it back unless you bend the sheath

I just did not want to do the typical gift card or dvd like last year & this looked so unique that I wanted to give it a try. Since he never really had a knife to carry, he was certainly surprised to receive it.
The knife is well made and the scorpion inside the handle looked incredible. The blade opened and closed smoothly. It is a good and solid knife for a very reasonable price.
Although later in the evening he confessed to being afraid of scorpions, he still really liked it. What a way to get over phobia! Anyway, the gift was a hit and I would recommend it.

(More customer reviews)This is my favorite knife. I carry it every day, even into church! It is rugged, large, capable, and works the way that I want.
Deployment:
This is very important. All folding knives must be deployed to use. Some are great, some suck! The Extreme OPs is just right!
You see, this knife has a clip. It is designed to clip to the belt. Yes, many other knives do as well. But the Extreme OPs is setup correct for "Right Handed, Rapid Deployment."
How does this work? Imagine the knife clipped to your belt or waist band on your right side waist. The knife is outside, its clip is on the inside. The highest end of the knife is more toward the rear, and the lower is more toward the front. With the Extreme OPs, the blade will be on the upper side, and the blade pivot is at the bottom. These orientations are vital for efficient, and smooth use!
With the knife as described in the above paragraph, it is fully ready for use. Now imagine that your right hand moves up to the knife which is clipped to your waist, and your right hand graps it. Now you slide the entire knife up and back to free the clip from your waist. Next without repositioning your hand in any way, and using "one smooth motion," you articulate your wrist, inside then outside. This motion, after your knife is oiled and broken in, will deploy the blade to the lock point. In half a second your knife has moved from stored on your waist, to being in your hand with the blade deployed and locked.
In an equally efficient way, you can, again without any repositioning, now use your thumb to press against the blade release, and your index finger can push the blade back to the folded condition! This is the best!
Any other orientation would require more actions to deploy, and or fold the blade.

(More customer reviews)Nice folding utility knife. the spring assist opening works well. However, I wish it kicked in at say a 30 degree angle instead of the 45 degree that it works at now. The lock release is in the perfect place and one hand operation,opening and closing, is simple. The handle has a nice texture that makes for a good grip. And the clip on the knife is the best I have ever seen on a pocket knife, strong and well made. However, I personally would have put the clip facing the other way. As it is now, if you clip it to your belt or pocket the lanyard hole is facing down, in your pants or pocket. If the clip was facing the other was so the lanyard hole was up, you could attach a lanyard so you cold grab and pull the knife out. The hole is useless with the clip facing the way it is. But those two "however" points are a matter of taste, and not why I gave it a three star rating. I took two stars off because, 1. The supplied pouch is worthless for making sure the knife doesn't get lost, the snap on the flap is cheap and doesn't snap securely; and the knife is so jammed in the pouch that it takes two hands to get it out (making one hand operation pointless)and if you brush up against something, the flap, that you had to press so hard to get snapped, unsnaps; leaving the knife in danger of being lost. 2. After only a weeks use the three screws that hold the handle together are rusted so bad you can't tell if they are slotted or Philips (they are Philips). The screws are recessed and I never have gotten it wet so it must be from the sweat of my hands during use. But, for such an otherwise well made knife, at this price (even amazon's discount price) should not have such cheap screws. I had to replace them.

(More customer reviews)This was the worst knife I've ever purchased. I was under the assumption that this was an Italian made Falcon brand stiletto. In fact this was a cheaply made Chinese brand. After my initial disappointment of discovering this was'nt the knife I thought it was, I soon discoverd the stiletto locking mechanism was'nt catching the blade pin at the back of the blade. This left the knife partially ajar when it was opened. After opening and closing the knife a few times, the blade pin fell off, leaving the knife completely worthless. Thanks for nothing!

But if you're looking for a good knife for cutting, chopping, or carving, look elsewhere. I tried to cut up an apple with this knife, because I have heard that stilettos are great for chopping up knives, and it didn't work at all.

(More customer reviews)I picked this knife up in a shop a couple years ago. I am disappointed to say I have lost it since then. One of the fastest opening knives I have ever owned. It even beat my kershaw Scalion, once I got the motion down. The trick isn't to use the thumb stud or to open it with your fingers. Just use your pocket to grab the hilt of the blade and flip it open. It isn't a great cutter or slasher by any means, however the sharp tip makes up for this. I found it was great for opening those tough plastic packages that retailers like to use now a days. It also gave me some measure of comfort when I had to walk downtown in the middle of the night. The blade is just long enough to where I would consider using it to fend someone off, and once I got the hang of opening it the knife became a viable defensive tool. I will be picking up another one of these knives after I get my next paycheck.

It looks super cool and it has a great feeling in your hand. the only thing is the belt lock is upside down but i don't care its always in my pocket any way! I have never had to tighten it or put the screws back in because they never fall out! IF your 15 or under and are looking for a good knife, this is totally for you. i got this at a local store for 15$ and Im mad because amazon has better price. it is about 4 1 fourth inches closed and opened it is 7 and a half. i will probably buy a couple more because there so sturdy and stylish. also this knife has lasted longer than the crimson scorpion knife and the extreme tactical folding knife( but both sill good knives to buy) and is still my favorite knife. BUY THIS KNIFE!!!!

First initial use, the handle broke off at the pivot joint with part of the handle stuck on the pivot screw. The manufacturer nor the reseller offers warranty. $19 for one time use and not completing that one time use either.
Another note, the item seemed like it was either tested or used already when I got it. Might've been returned.

This knife is at it's best when you want to carry a knife but the occassion is not appropriate for carry{large knife}. I find the knife strong, and well made. The fit and finish is superior. Matter of fact the only draw back would be the rather high possibility of loss. That's how I lost a simulair knife as a kid. The craze today is Tactical, large monster blades, and multi tools. (More customer reviews)With knifes, you have to use and abuse them a little before you can write a fair review based on it's performance. For most knifes of this price you wouldn't expect super high quality as you would with prominent knife makers like Benchmade or CRKT, etc. In this instance, however, this is actually a fairly well made knife. And, I will be quick to point out it is made out of the same high quality steel that most high end knifes are made from (440C). I have had no problems so far with mine in the two months that I have had it and I use it A LOT. Mostly as a utility knife but it would make an excellent all around everyday and campers knife. It has kept a sharp edge so far and the tip has not bent or been damaged even though I have used the tip to pry open things. The design is nice and comfortable to hold. The lock has worked well and consistent. I had to actually loosed the screws on mine with a torx wrench just a little so that the "quick open" finger notch worked more smoothly. With a light flick it whips open quickly now. It is super thin & the pocket clip works nicely. It's not too heavy even though it is a decent sized knife. I would rate this overall as a very useful utility and/or campers/hikers knife and would recommend it!

(More customer reviews)wonderful, truly wonderful. it looks great, keeps its edge depending on stress output, has a good feel, is well balanced, flips open with the greatest of ease(I would recommend flicking it open often when first getting it to make the withdrawl very smooth), and looks cool over-all. It is much longer than you would anticipate. The one and only flaw is that the blade was only painted black. So when I kept it in my pocket with my keys, it now has plenty of little dots and one long scratch which are anything but un-noticeable. To conclude, I would recommend it with the up most sincerity.
