(More customer reviews)This was the worst knife I've ever purchased. I was under the assumption that this was an Italian made Falcon brand stiletto. In fact this was a cheaply made Chinese brand. After my initial disappointment of discovering this was'nt the knife I thought it was, I soon discoverd the stiletto locking mechanism was'nt catching the blade pin at the back of the blade. This left the knife partially ajar when it was opened. After opening and closing the knife a few times, the blade pin fell off, leaving the knife completely worthless. Thanks for nothing!

But if you're looking for a good knife for cutting, chopping, or carving, look elsewhere. I tried to cut up an apple with this knife, because I have heard that stilettos are great for chopping up knives, and it didn't work at all.

(More customer reviews)I picked this knife up in a shop a couple years ago. I am disappointed to say I have lost it since then. One of the fastest opening knives I have ever owned. It even beat my kershaw Scalion, once I got the motion down. The trick isn't to use the thumb stud or to open it with your fingers. Just use your pocket to grab the hilt of the blade and flip it open. It isn't a great cutter or slasher by any means, however the sharp tip makes up for this. I found it was great for opening those tough plastic packages that retailers like to use now a days. It also gave me some measure of comfort when I had to walk downtown in the middle of the night. The blade is just long enough to where I would consider using it to fend someone off, and once I got the hang of opening it the knife became a viable defensive tool. I will be picking up another one of these knives after I get my next paycheck.

It looks super cool and it has a great feeling in your hand. the only thing is the belt lock is upside down but i don't care its always in my pocket any way! I have never had to tighten it or put the screws back in because they never fall out! IF your 15 or under and are looking for a good knife, this is totally for you. i got this at a local store for 15$ and Im mad because amazon has better price. it is about 4 1 fourth inches closed and opened it is 7 and a half. i will probably buy a couple more because there so sturdy and stylish. also this knife has lasted longer than the crimson scorpion knife and the extreme tactical folding knife( but both sill good knives to buy) and is still my favorite knife. BUY THIS KNIFE!!!!

(More customer reviews)This is a nicely designed folding knife that fits easily into a short type tackle box. It appears well made. I have yet to expose it to salt water to see if it corodes or rusts. I would have appreciated it if the blade had a bit more flexibility to it, which would make it a perfect filet knife. It's more of a filet knife in style but not in flexibility. It works quite well for a rough cut that can be done on the docks or in a boat, and with it's foldability, is much safer then having a loose open kinife laying around or possibly falling out of a sheath.

It is well made, sturdy, and just the right size for slipping into your pocket with the belt-clip without taking up too much room. The blade is razor sharp! My only hang up on this particular knife is that it does not open quickly and when you use the thumb stud, it is very easy for your thumb to slip if you go too fast and rub it across the bottom of the blade, of which, obviously can be dangerous. Otherwise this is an excellent mid-size knife that is perfect for the price!

(More customer reviews)wonderful, truly wonderful. it looks great, keeps its edge depending on stress output, has a good feel, is well balanced, flips open with the greatest of ease(I would recommend flicking it open often when first getting it to make the withdrawl very smooth), and looks cool over-all. It is much longer than you would anticipate. The one and only flaw is that the blade was only painted black. So when I kept it in my pocket with my keys, it now has plenty of little dots and one long scratch which are anything but un-noticeable. To conclude, I would recommend it with the up most sincerity.

The locking mechanism on mine has ceased to function, and the blade can easily be pushed shut when "locked." It doesn't hold an edge well at all, and it is not durable. I learned this all within a month of owning mine.
If you want a display piece, this is fine. Just don't expect it to do any sort of knife-oriented tasks.

Quality is okay at best...metal on the handle/blade is really nice, the fake wood on the handle really detracts from the look. It's not even cut straight!
Pro: legal alternative if you like the looks of butterfly/switchblades.
Con: not practical at all...

HOWEVER, maybe this knife isn't good for picking up boxes, (if you know how to do that). in picking up the box, i torque'd the blade, and now it's loose. and in flicking it open, with a flip of the wrist, one of the screws and anchor for the pocket clip came undone. i would send it in for a new one, but i got what i paid for, no more M-Tech knives for the this former killer.
just goes to show that it isn't as Extreme as it claims to be.

DAMASCUS NAVAJA FOLDER STAG HANDLE Review

(More customer reviews)I have taken a lot of interest with Damascus knives which I do buy mostly from Amazon.
This one falls into the category of cheap imitations of more famous designs. In this case, it is a basic copy of a Laguiole knife which is caracterized by the fly (or bee) used as emblem.
I do not care that much about authenticity if the quality is undeniable. In this case, I have my doubts about the quality for the following reasons:
- The blade came very greasy and dirty. Grease is good but dirt I do not enjoy.
- The blade is not as sharp out of the box as Damascus blades can be expected to be.
- There are gaps in the handle which makes me fear a poor construction quality.
- The sheath is very tight for this knife. I had to force to get it inside.
In all fairness, I just received it today. I will sharpen it tonight and see how it goes. Also, I do not really see the necessity of a sheath for a foldable pocket knife.
On the good sides, one can easily spot the multiple layers of the blade by looking at it from the back and the pattern is pretty nice.
