They have some heft to them and almost the same weight as the swords we use. Nice price and they hold up well to plenty of abuse, while allowing you to beat the crap out of your sparring partner without doing any permanent damage. Good quality and excellent grips. This just might be the only sparring boken you'll ever need.

(More customer reviews)It's one dang cool looking item and I'm wearing it now in fact because I literally got it but 30 minutes ago. My first impression was SWEEET!! But upon putting it on I come to find out it is a bit looser than I'd like. The item itself doesn't disappoint, the blade is nice and sharp and the whole item is free of any nicks or scratches. Basically it's a kick but item but only if you've got really thick fingers. Oh, and in the picture it shows the blade being made of both blackened and non blackened stainless steel, truth is it comes black. Only thing that could have made me rate this thing higher was if it fit properly.

(More customer reviews)I got this for my 25 year old brother who has everything. Well he did NOT have this, and had a great time last Christmas playing around with it and coming up with great ways to ambush people with it.
I hope you know, but this is NOT a self-defense weapon, it's a NOVELTY!!! It's a cool way to show off to your friends since it IS a working umbrella but the handle unscrews to a slightly sharp, thin blade (which I suppose one could potentially sharpen it really sharp if he was a spy or something).
Great construction, seems durable enough for my brother. I recommend it!

(More customer reviews)The sword not only looks life it is nicely crafted, it has a pretty good feel to it as well. The edge is clean, and is finely chiseled from the black-painted metal blade.
It has a good weight to it (1 pound).
The only part that feels cheap is the hilt. The hilt is solid metal, but it is wrapped in a plastic grip. The plastic is bumpy, but not enough to feel like you can have a firm grip on it. I'm definitely going to lose my grip and have an expensive accident ...of some sort.. while aimlessly swinging this around one day.
Long-term, I'm sure it would have been cheaper to invest in a sword with a nicer hilt. j/k. Don't aimlessly swing your sword around..!!
This is only my first sword purchase though, so I wouldn't have known what to look for when internet shopping.
It was well worth the $15. I leave it on my desk to open the mail with, and it looks pretty cool.

12 Aluminum High Impact Arrows Review

(More customer reviews)Maybe I should be more charitable than 3 stars for el cheapo bolts, for el cheapo crossbow pistols. These little crossbow pistols are a lot of fun for the money, but the two styles of bolts available for them aren't very durable.
THE CONS: The fins (the black part in the photos) on these "aluminum" bolts are a very cheap, brittle plastic that break off easily.
THE PROS: The aluminum shaft version is about half again the weight of the plastic shaft version, with the weight balanced toward the front of the dart. They fly straight and group well at up to about 50 feet. By comparison, the all plastic with metal points (which also break easily) are all over the place and don't group at all. Don't waste your money on the plastic ones. The aluminum shaft version, at least, is fun to shoot - just figure on buying lots of them to allow for a lot of broken fins.
