(More customer reviews)I got this for my 25 year old brother who has everything. Well he did NOT have this, and had a great time last Christmas playing around with it and coming up with great ways to ambush people with it.
I hope you know, but this is NOT a self-defense weapon, it's a NOVELTY!!! It's a cool way to show off to your friends since it IS a working umbrella but the handle unscrews to a slightly sharp, thin blade (which I suppose one could potentially sharpen it really sharp if he was a spy or something).
Great construction, seems durable enough for my brother. I recommend it!

I was expecting a normal katana that would not be related to any movie whatsoever. Then, I noticed the blade is a little bit loose from the hilt, you can feel it move when you swing the sword.
