(More customer reviews)The sword not only looks life it is nicely crafted, it has a pretty good feel to it as well. The edge is clean, and is finely chiseled from the black-painted metal blade.
It has a good weight to it (1 pound).
The only part that feels cheap is the hilt. The hilt is solid metal, but it is wrapped in a plastic grip. The plastic is bumpy, but not enough to feel like you can have a firm grip on it. I'm definitely going to lose my grip and have an expensive accident ...of some sort.. while aimlessly swinging this around one day.
Long-term, I'm sure it would have been cheaper to invest in a sword with a nicer hilt. j/k. Don't aimlessly swing your sword around..!!
This is only my first sword purchase though, so I wouldn't have known what to look for when internet shopping.
It was well worth the $15. I leave it on my desk to open the mail with, and it looks pretty cool.
