Most of the gun is metal, aside from the grips, which are plastic. If you let the slide close too fast you risk cracking the plastic, but it will hold even with a crack. all together, it is a good little piece of history

(More customer reviews)I am a huge Snake Eyes fan and when I saw this online I did not think twice about ordering it. This is a replica sword from the new GI Joe Movie "The Rise of Cobra" played by the character Snake Eyes. Snake Eyes is a ninja and uses his sword and he also uses guns to defeat Cobra and to defeat his brother Storm Shadow.
Moving onto the sword I must say I am very impressed with this product and pleased. The blade is perfect not sharpened but of course it was being shipped so I had to be dual. The Arashikage Clan logo is on each side of the blade, they even got the serrated edges on the blade correct. I am also amazed on how the blade looks, the curve is just right and the blade looks just perfect.
Moving on to the handle, now the handle and hand guard look even really great on this replica. The hand guard is a silver that looks as it was polished and looks very decent, also the handle was made from hard wood it looks like and colored black. It looks just like the handle did in the movie. I am also impressed with the bottom of the sword at the handle where they have that little extra silver piece that is also in the movie.
The sheath is also very nice I think and it fits and that's all it really needs to do. The sheath appears to be made of a hard wood and it looks as it is painted black, with a glossy finish. The sheath fits perfectly over the blade and there is no extra room and it slides right on and off the blade with no problems at all. It even has a area on it where you have a strap where you can carry the sword like Snake Eyes does.
In the end this sword is a perfect replica and I think that it was an excellent purchase. I got way more out of my money then what I thought I was going to get so I would like to thank the seller QSwords for selling me this amazing replica sword of Snake Eyes, also for the fast shipping, and last but not least for the great quality and service. :)

Despite this streak, it's a perfect item for cosplay but i don't advice you to make too many moves with it because the handle is in plastic and the blade is in steel so it's a bit fragile. So enjoy it but be careful !!

(More customer reviews)I won't lie, the sword is awesome when you first open it. The blade is sturdy and sharp. The handle (made of wood) is well designed. The sword itself is heavier then average replecant swords. However, after looking at it closely I noticed some faults.
The paint job on parts of the scabbard is poor. Details don't line up or are badly painted. The wings of the handle also wobble a little bit. The blade itself is not symmetrical at the tip. Details are also missing from the game. The triforce symbol on the blade is gone. The blade is straight and doesn't follow the original blade design.
That aside, it is something awesome to look at. Fun to play with.
Bottom line, if you are a hard core fan of Zelda, you will most likely be disappointed by it's poor manufacturing. But for some one who just wants to have a Master Sword for a low price, here you go.

(More customer reviews)I bought the Spartan Spear primarily to complete the Spartan ensemble currently adorning a 6'2" mannequin. While the look of the spear is great -- hence the two stars in my review -- the spear feels wrong in my hands. For starters, the spear is bottom heavy. For those who don't know, the spear shaft ships in two pieces (roughly equal length, one with the spearhead and the other with the buttcap (not my words) which are then screwed together to form the spear. In addition to the bottom half being heavier than the top half, the spear wobbles at the point in which the spear pieces come together and does not feel sturdy. I returned the spear for a refund and received another spear, same model, from a different vendor with no better luck. While the spear admittedly looks great, I was very disappointed and will plan to "make" my own Spartan spear using the officially licensed spearhead and buttcap from the movie 300.

I paid US $230 from Camper Safety. Too long for indoor work but definitely worth having. The steel scabbard is heavy but well made. Get a 1917 Cutlass for use inside your house because it's shorter.

(More customer reviews)You'll be surprised to know that this gun looks as good, if not better, in person than it would seem in the photo. It is a long, heavy, solid feeling reproduction that I use for reference when working on illustrations from that time period. Yes it is made of real wood and metal, I took a risk spending the extra few bucks, sight unseen, to get one made from wood instead of plastic and I was really satisfied with the results.
It cocks and fires, the hammer strikes the fizzen and it flips forward in a very realistic manner, of course there is no way to load it with blanks or caps. The ramrod is fused into place and the firing mechanism can't half cock if you're a real stickler for historical accuracy. The half cock would let you load the weapon and stuff it in your belt, a sort of primitive safety.
Thats really the long and the short of it. I don't think any of the replica flintlocks on here have been reviewed yet, but know that they dont look or feel cheap. I think people looking at the two hundred dollar pirate movie prop replicas should consider one of these wood and metal pieces instead. These are very nice quality and cost about a fifth of the price.

(More customer reviews)This Hitsugaya sword is a great purchase. Don't be deceived by the picture though, the chord wrappings are dark blue, rather than Hitsugaya's classic light blue. However, the sheath with shoulder strap is pretty cool and you can really where the sword around.
The blade is a good quality, though it isn't sharp except at the tip. It is full size and full length for real katana fighting. Although the quality of the whole thing is not fully functional for real training, it is a great practice sword and looks great for cosplay.
The balance could be better, it isn't full tang, but I really do endorse this purchase. It is great for fans and/or collectors. And so much fun to use. It is probably the best bargain for a good quality Hitsugaya sword.

Denix M1861 Navy Issue Brass Revolver Review

(More customer reviews)I own this one and a couple of other Denix Replicas. They hang on the wall in my den. The real stuff is of course kept in the safes.
Denix did a good job on this replica. It has some features that reflect the Colt Original changes from their 1851 Navy Revolver. It incorporates the creeping or ratchet loading lever and the round barrel of the .44 caliber Army Model of 1860, but would have been a .36 caliber. It also does not have a cylider scene and the barrel and the cylinder is fluted. It would have had a brass trigger guard and back strap, silver plated, which were standard. The original Colt weighed in at 43 oz and was 1 5/8 inches shorter. But overall Denix go it right.
If you are into the history of the Colt Company, the 1861 Model being mass produced and killing the competition. Colt was producing 85% of this weapon by machine with precise production standards that resulted in interchangeable parts. His assembly line production methods were lated imitated by Henry Ford. Although made in Italy, this replica serves to represent a remarkable era in American history.

Zelda Twilight Princess Wood Sword Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this understanding 100% that it was made out of wood, and I needed it to be in order to have it permitted into public spaces. However the actual product you recieve is not that in the picture, several colors are inverted, the triangle at the center of the base is crooked, all of the stenciled spray painted details have other colors inside and outside of where they're supposed to be and the "blade" is so flimsy I'm afraid to do anything with it but keep it in the holder, It's not meant for sword play or anything of that nature, I'm aware but with glue visible at the base holding the piece on its obvious it would be amazingly easy to break.
Good seller, misleading picture, horrible product.

(More customer reviews)First off, let me summarize my review by saying that for the price, this is a great sword. I was attracted to it by the ornate designs and the fact it came with a sheath.
Overall this is a great sword given the price you will pay. (I paid $20, shipping included.) The only real con I have with this sword is that the silver fittings on the sheath don't quite join up correctly. Besides that I am quite happy with it.
There one other review on this sword where they said that their swords blade had a honey like substance on it. I believe what he is referring to is the resin coating which gets put onto the black part of the sheath. I didn't have any on my swords blade, must of been a mistake for his sword only.
I think this sword is definitely worth the $20 price I paid for it.
