(More customer reviews)This sword is good for what it is. It looks like the Master Sword, and it feels like a real sword in your hand.
The blade is steel and fairly sturdy, and the rest is plastic which while solid enough for play and display would not stand up to someone insane enough to actually use this as a sword.
The detail on the blade is very lightly done and is not quite a Triforce symbol, and the decoration is very simple and looks stenciled.
For the price it's a good deal for a Zelda fan, but keep in mind, this is a display piece only. It's a real steel blade so it's not a toy, but the plastic bits means it's not a weapon either.

Full Size Link Hylian Zelda Shield with Grip & Handle Review

(More customer reviews)The actual shield I received did not match the one shown in the stock photo. I have uploaded some pictures that I took for comparison. The are numerous differences from the actual shield than what is shown in the product image. First, the triforce does not match, it has an odd red outline painted around the triangles and is missing the 'metal' rim around it. The 'metal' adornments shown on the bottom of the shield are missing. The large 'bolts' shown along the shield's rim are also different, being really small and more numerous. Aside from cosmetic differences, the shield also did not include the metal wall mount shown on the back of the shield, so I cannot hang this on my wall as intended.
Other faults of this shield as mentioned in other reviews are the strap and handle on the back. The two connectors that the handle attaches to were not aligned properly on my shield so the handle is now crooked and not held in as well as it should be. The strap included is terrible and consists of 2 separate pieces of velcro. These are only to be held on with little bent clips that are not at all secured to the shield in any way, and do not stay on. To remedy this, I took advice from another review and just threaded some twine through the 2 connectors and it seems to hold pretty securely now.
The only thing saving this shield from a 1 star review from me is the fact that the paint job on my shield is really nicely done. It might not match the shield in the picture, but it looks really nice in itself. Also, the red dragon symbol looks a lot more accurate to the game than what is shown. If you aren't looking for an exact replica, and just want a nice looking shield, this is probably the best deal out there. However, just know that you aren't getting what is shown in the picture.

Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess Link's Master Sword - Video Game Sword Review

(More customer reviews)When I bought this sword I was a little worried considering there were no reviews yet on it, but I took a chance, and was pleasantly surprised. The sword looks amazing, and just... makes me happy when I look at it. The only problem is the paint job could be a little better, for example, there is a gold drip on the triangle that is in the center of the handle. Also, the very tip of the blade is a little bent, and lastly on the bottom of the blade right below the triforce symbol there is the word "China" written on it. I get it, everything was made in China. I don't have to learn that from the blade. The next thing, although it's not a problem, the description didn't really help tell me more about the blade than the picture showed. The blade pard is very nice looking and looks very hight quality. The handle is plastic, and looks a little fake. Other than that, the blade is fantastic, and if you are an extreme Zelda fan, like I am, this is a great item, and looks very similar to the real master sword on video, which is why I bought it.

Despite this streak, it's a perfect item for cosplay but i don't advice you to make too many moves with it because the handle is in plastic and the blade is in steel so it's a bit fragile. So enjoy it but be careful !!

Crescent Moon Knights Sword Two Handed Review

(More customer reviews)This is a great sword for the price, if you want a wall hanger. After practice cutting with it the handle broke, which was made of some sort of plastic. The tang also bent when the handle broke. The leather sheath is nice, but has a nylon back strap. The strap is ajustable and would fit fine, but I'm a little heavy set. This sword should definitely stay on the wall and not used at all. I give this sword four stars because it doesn't claim to be a usable sword and I just assumed it was.

Anime Link's Twilight Princess Master Sword w/ Scabbard Review

(More customer reviews)I won't lie, the sword is awesome when you first open it. The blade is sturdy and sharp. The handle (made of wood) is well designed. The sword itself is heavier then average replecant swords. However, after looking at it closely I noticed some faults.
The paint job on parts of the scabbard is poor. Details don't line up or are badly painted. The wings of the handle also wobble a little bit. The blade itself is not symmetrical at the tip. Details are also missing from the game. The triforce symbol on the blade is gone. The blade is straight and doesn't follow the original blade design.
That aside, it is something awesome to look at. Fun to play with.
Bottom line, if you are a hard core fan of Zelda, you will most likely be disappointed by it's poor manufacturing. But for some one who just wants to have a Master Sword for a low price, here you go.

I also bought one here for $40 just so I have one in mint condition. I couldn't help but open one up and check out the quality. I think it is an excellent collectors item for those who love Zelda. It is very well made. I also have a Lightsaber that they make (Master Replica). They do excellent work! If it is worth it to you... buy one. If you can find it.

Zelda Twilight Princess Link Master Replica Sword Review

(More customer reviews)I specifically purchased this item with the intent of mounting it on my wall with a plaque. I'm a moderate fan of the Zelda games; my first experience being on the ol' SNES, going through Zelda: Ocarina of Time, several of the Gameboy, GBC, and GBA games, and finally beating Twilight Princess recently.
The sword looks very much as it appears in the pictures, dark blue pommel and grip. The weapon is quite long. I reccomend pulling out a measuring tape and visually comparing the length given in the description before buying. It looks like the master-sword, and so it should. The scabbard is very nice, though there are no loops or holes to attach to your own belt.
My only complaints with the weapon are minor. The Hilt, grip, and pommel seem to be molded from PVC or some other similar plastic. It feels a little cheap in the hand. The weapon is not "full-tang" (I.e. the blade ends at the hilt, rather then continuing all the way up the handle). This means that in any kind of mock battle or play, the blade could easily be disconnected from the handle. Even a hard swing of the sword in the air could potentially damage it. The blade itself is made from a cheaper metal, and could use a good polishing once it arrives. I would use it soley for display, or to compliment a costume.

Full Size Link Hylian Zelda Shield with Grip & Handle Review

I ordered this replica for the Texas Renaissance Festival. I started to dress as Link a few years back and this shield looked right for the price.
The only major flaw I have with this product is that it was laimed to be made of solid steel with resin detailing on the front.
Reality is that the steel backing on the back is under 1/16 of an inch thick and bends easily when warm. The resin makes up the majority of the sheild as it is up to 1/2" thick at the most and some of the details are trying to lose the glue and fall off so I'm going to have to re-glue them eventually.
But for the price and the weight of the product I am fairly pleased.

(More customer reviews)This is an excellent sword. It isn't worth anymore than 40 dollars but, it is still good none the less. The blade is excellent. I have one and it passed the flex test. It is light and easy to swing. There is one major flaw that keeps it from being kicked into the realm of functionality. The handle. It is VERY weak. It has a rat tail tang with all of the weight placed on a somewhat crude weld. If you have some skill in welding and heat treating, you can make this a very awesome sword. It would just be a matter of widening that rat-tail tang (the metal from the blade that extends into the handle) If functionality isn't an issue, then, I would recommend it. Since I love functionality, I only give it 4 stars.

Zelda Link's Master Sword Video Game Replica Review

(More customer reviews)I was thoroughly surprised when I finally opened the packaging on this product. It was not at all what is shown in the picture. It was much better! The picture sort of made me expect that the scabbard would be a plastic, but it's actually a hefty (what I assume to be) wood and both ends are metal. The painting was excellent and accurate. The sword itself was also amazing, but more accurate to what's shown in the picture. The hilt and handle end (whatever it's called) is ceremic, so be care not to drop it. The handle itself is wooden, similar to the scabbard. The indentation near the base of the blade isn't nearly as severe as pictured, which I find to be a plus. I see only two small problems with the product:
1] The yellow triangle on the hilt show a bit a blue through the paint.
2] Sometimes, upon taking the sword out of the scabbard, you will find some dust on the blade that just makes it look awkward.

(More customer reviews)I bought this understanding 100% that it was made out of wood, and I needed it to be in order to have it permitted into public spaces. However the actual product you recieve is not that in the picture, several colors are inverted, the triangle at the center of the base is crooked, all of the stenciled spray painted details have other colors inside and outside of where they're supposed to be and the "blade" is so flimsy I'm afraid to do anything with it but keep it in the holder, It's not meant for sword play or anything of that nature, I'm aware but with glue visible at the base holding the piece on its obvious it would be amazingly easy to break.
Good seller, misleading picture, horrible product.
