(More customer reviews)I bought the Spartan Spear primarily to complete the Spartan ensemble currently adorning a 6'2" mannequin. While the look of the spear is great -- hence the two stars in my review -- the spear feels wrong in my hands. For starters, the spear is bottom heavy. For those who don't know, the spear shaft ships in two pieces (roughly equal length, one with the spearhead and the other with the buttcap (not my words) which are then screwed together to form the spear. In addition to the bottom half being heavier than the top half, the spear wobbles at the point in which the spear pieces come together and does not feel sturdy. I returned the spear for a refund and received another spear, same model, from a different vendor with no better luck. While the spear admittedly looks great, I was very disappointed and will plan to "make" my own Spartan spear using the officially licensed spearhead and buttcap from the movie 300.
