(More customer reviews)I was thoroughly surprised when I finally opened the packaging on this product. It was not at all what is shown in the picture. It was much better! The picture sort of made me expect that the scabbard would be a plastic, but it's actually a hefty (what I assume to be) wood and both ends are metal. The painting was excellent and accurate. The sword itself was also amazing, but more accurate to what's shown in the picture. The hilt and handle end (whatever it's called) is ceremic, so be care not to drop it. The handle itself is wooden, similar to the scabbard. The indentation near the base of the blade isn't nearly as severe as pictured, which I find to be a plus. I see only two small problems with the product:
1] The yellow triangle on the hilt show a bit a blue through the paint.
2] Sometimes, upon taking the sword out of the scabbard, you will find some dust on the blade that just makes it look awkward.
