While the sword itself is gorgeous, with a very well crafted handle and a gorgeous futuristic design, the only problem that I've had with this piece is small and unsubstantial.
In order to hold the sword in it's nice, sturdy sheath, there is a small metal piece on the hilt that hooks onto a small opening on the sheath. Now the problem is that in some instances, when pressing the button to release the sword, the button will stay down and the small metal gook will stay down as well making it difficult to lock without prying it with a screwdriver. While this is not a major inconvenience to me, the sword will stay in the sheath so long as it's not shaken or flipped upside-down. I am NOT SURE if it's a manufacturing defect, or simply damaged somehow in transport, this is still a fine sword.
