(More customer reviews)This is not a knife so much as it is a costume prop suited for Halloween. What appears in the photo to be polished metal on the hilt is really a chrome-like coating. My problem with this is that mine came with small bubbles in the coating. The pieces are clumsily joined but will pass casual inspection. I wouldn't bother trying to sharpen the "blade". It does have a very thin and fragile clip on one side that can easily be unscrewed. The shape is accurately represented in the photos and is what attracted me in the first place, but the surfaces are much shinier and a lot less real looking, including what appears to be matte black. It's fine for what it is, but its not a knife or dagger.

The blade of the Black Crusader Dress Dagger is a 6.5 inch stainless steel blade with a blood groove. The scabbard is cast metal with polished metal silver fittings. 11 1/4 inches overall in length.
