(More customer reviews)This machete is pretty usefull. Ive had it for about 3 days now and can already tell it will serve me well for a long time. Out of the box it came fairly dull (most likely because the edge was covered in the black coating) but i ran over it with my lansky quick edge sharpener and that fixed the problem. I took it outside and slashed through some brush with ease. I hacked at a few tree branches and it worked pretty well. I find the long handle very helpfull when reaching low to the ground because im fairly tall and need that extra reach. The only reason i gave it 4 stars is because the coating came scrathed a bit,there was also a large sticker on the blade that peeled off and left alot of residue and paper which needed alot of googone to get off, and the handle had a few scratches and parts where it was rubbed off and alittle scratchy. Other then the few scratches on it, its a great machete and you wont be dissapointed if you decide to get it.
