(More customer reviews)I only have myself to blame for not realizing how small this knife actually is. I don't have large hands by ANY means, and this thing DOES NOT! I REPEAT DOES NOT! fit in my hand at all. I'm thinking it would be a small child's next step up after he finishes the boy scouts - that's how small it is. I would not trust this thing to skin an animal or even any small task in a grown man's hands. Please take a ruler or something and measure out how long the handle is, because I took this knife out of the box and after about 3 seconds of face-palming I wrapped it up and came on Amazon to file the return.
On the contrary I guess I should mention some of the good things about this knife: The sheath isn't bad... I've had bad luck with "plastic" sheaths in the past, but this one seemed higher quality and will fit on wide belts with the button loop. The handle seemed nice and solid. The steel was nicely finished and it was decently sharp, but I didn't get to try it out on anything.
I would like to say that they do falsely advertise this one, they put it next to the other Pendleton's and scale it up so that you can't tell how tiny it is. But it won't stop me from purchasing from this company again, I only blame myself.

Both the Pendleton Hunter's hollow ground blade and the Mini Hunter's flat ground blade are honed to perfection. The handle's cross sections and contours match Lloyd's handmade knives exactly. For safety and durability, we have dispensed with leather in favor of Secure-Ex for the sheaths. This material won't rot or mildew and is far more resistant to cuts or punctures than leather.
