(More customer reviews)I hate to give this knife only 3 stars. It really deserves better. And I think for a lot of other people this could easily be a 4 or 5 star product. The knife itself is well made. The frame lock is solid and the knife is just about the right length to grip comfortably with all 4 fingers on the handle. Mine is a little stiff to open one-handed with the thumb stud, but not terribly so.
So why only 3 stars then? Well it suffers by comparison to some of the other Kershaw knives I own. I miss the SpeedSafe mechanism for easier one-handed opening that some of the other models have. And the serrated blade is more difficult to keep sharp (there is a non-serrated version of this model too). It's also a little too big to carry comfortably in my pocket as an EDC knife. I find that I use my Kershaw Ken Onion Chive and Kershaw Ken Onion Baby Boa much more by comparison.
Still it's a solidly built product and I would recommend it despite the fact that it didn't quite meet my needs.
