(More customer reviews)I ordered this katana for use in a theatre production. It worked just fine for what I needed it for. The appearance is top quality. My only complaint would be that the end tip on the handle started to come off when I took it out of the box. I just put a little glue on it and it hasn't been a problem since. It is totally what I expected for a mere $17. The metal piece is not forged all the way through the handle, and the balance in it is not where it technically should be, but as I mentioned, exactly what I expected for $17. If you need it to be closely inspected, you may want to look at a different price range. All in all, a great deal for the price.

only reason its 4 star is it sticks in the scabbard a little, and the satin ribbon came wrinkled (can be fixed quickly with iron) and is a slightly difernt shade of color. otherwise its great! came way before expected date!

The brass rings were glued on so unfortunately they slide are on the sword but that can be easily fixed with glue. The whole sword it self is beautiful. I suggest this item to any One Piece fans.

The handle is wrapped in part black nylon cord around black imitation ray skin. Also note the exacting detail used in the golden iron cross tsuba.

(More customer reviews)I have recently bought several replica swords on Amazon and I have to say this is the one of the nicest. The blade appears of good quality, straight, semi-sharp and really shiny. Then handle and guard feel really solid, the wrap on the handle is pretty nice too. The scabbard looks great and has a good firm feel when you draw and replace the sword. In short, I don't plan on doing any "fighting" with this piece but it looks awsome in my collection.

These swords came in a variety of shapes and sizes. Often, the traditional ninjatos were much shorter than the traditional daito katana used by the samurai of feudal Japan.Modern ninjato are often made straight with a square tsuba (hand guard). Historically, however, the ninja ken was straight, but only in contrast to the average sword of the period which were much more curved. Traditional ninjaken still had a slight curve to the sword.This Ninja sword features a 440 stainless steel blade that is slightly sharpened. The sword is measured at 39", and the blade is 27.5".
