Damascus Stag Barlow Folding Knife Review

This is a beautiful, well made knife most likely made in Pakistan. All materials are good quality and the matched genuine stag handles are exceptional. The craftsmanship is top quality. You couldn't get a damascus steel folding knife of this quality made in the US or Europe for anything close to this very reasonable price. The steel blades are exceptionally nice. Unlike so many damascus imports this is not big and clunky, The filework is neat. No wobble, good snap open and closed. All the exposed steel is nicely polished. In short, I'm very impressed with this 3 5/16' Barlow damascus. Even the black leather case enclosed is well made and clean. I don't like it for this knife but will use it with another.

M-Tech Pakkawood Folding Pocket Knife Drop Review

I was looking for an inexpensive knife to keep on hand in the office and came across this one. For the price, I wasn't really sure of the quality this one would have, but decided to go for it anyway. After receiving it, I'm really happy with the quality of this knife and I'm glad I bought it. It is larger than the typical pocket knife (which is good for my purposes) and has a very solid feel. I'm not a knife expert by any means, but to me the quality of the assembly and workmanship are better than I was expecting. The blade is easy to open one-handed wth either hand. I'm left-handed, but I can open it with my right hand smoothly and quickly without worries. The blade came with a decent edge (it won't shave hair off your forearm, but it is sharp enough for everyday office tasks). The blade was a bit tight at first, but after some use it became smooth and easy. I also like the look of this knife, since I was not going for something with a military edge. The stainless steel and wood handle looks great, but the blade's shape and black finish give it a more contemporary, slightly aggressive edge once you flip it open. I'd definitely buy it again if I ever need another one.

The knife is absolutely beautiful. While obviously pattern welded the quality is amazing. Nice heavy construction that is not going to break down on you. I comes with a nice edge, and holds it well. It will take an even better edge with a little time and love.

Kershaw Vapor Serrated Knife Review

I am very satisfied with my Kershaw Serrated knife. The style is plain enough, nothing too fancy that I might be embarrassed to use in public. I carry it every day, and it isn't too heavy or bulky. The steel seems like it is decent enough, especially for the price. At under $30 for a quality blade with a lifetime warranty, it wouldn't kill me to lose it, and I would just buy another one. It is perfect for my needs.
