I had to spray the little handle latch with WD40 to get it to working smoothly, and it takes some practice getting the double daggers to line up to close the baton. The daggers are very sharp and sturdy and the two ends of the baton connect firmly together to make the double-bladed baton. The little latch on the handle popped off after one light blow, but it snapped right back on. I will be purchasing another one for my collection.
