(More customer reviews)Very nice. Is this a knife I would choose to take into the back country with me? No! It is not a practical survival knife: too big and heavy (nice for cutting branches and other heavy work perhaps, but a pain to carry); not made from top grade steel; the guard would be getting in the way a lot (it's the one thing about this knife's design I'm not real keen on).
Then why 5 stars? It's a beautiful piece of work, especially for the money. I collect knives, and most of my collection will never see any real work. This is one of those. But it isn't a cheap, shiny piece of junk. It is well made, substantial, and could be used as a working knife if you wanted to. One of my top 3 (and the other 2 are much more expensive).
