(More customer reviews)I like this sword! Zinc fittings look a little cheap, but really, for a sub-$100 sword you can't expect museum quality kashira. Does not rattle in the saya, ito and sageo (handle wrap and scabbard cord) are pretty decent, no worse than many others I have seen. Blade is sharp and straight. No warps or bends of any kind. Blade is thin and suitable for light cutting. Habaki looks like it was made for a beefier blade, as there are some side gaps, but hamachi and mune-machi (front and back of blade) fit perfectly. I am not a fan of fake hamons, but this one is not too garish. I wanted a katana with a dragonfly theme that would look nice and stand up to some light dojo cutting without breaking the bank. This sword fit the bill. I am going to give it 5 stars, because I did not expect a Masamune or a Murasama nihonto. I got what I hoped to get and nothing more. Shipping was pretty fast, too.
