(More customer reviews)I purchased this sword for medieval fencing. However, after 2 classes it has serious notches in the bade; in other words it was used to perform plays but actual fencing. After examining the blade the the consensus was not to use it for fencing only for doing plays.
If you are looking a blade that lasts I suggest Albion Swords or Arms and Armor; or course they are more expensive.
