(More customer reviews)This Batleth is, at least close in shape and size to the originals on Star Trek. The leather wrap looks a feels good however I wouldnt count on it staying on for long if the "sword" was used for "play" for any length of time. The overall apearance is good from a distance but the surface is rough from sanding/grinding marks that werent smoothed out in the finish process. I bought it for display only thinking the finish would be better than just reasonable. At best, in my humble opinion its worth about half the selling price.
