Here's a durable low maintenance sword, perfect for your everyday practice. The blade is constructed of high-polished aluminum with a faux temper line so it never has to be oiled. The fittings are solid polished brass. Comes with a lacquered scabbard and a special nylon carrying case with a double zipper and Velcro closure. A dependable practice sword at an economical price. 28 inch blade, 39 inch overall. The carrying case is included for free, however It can not be returned or exchanged.

Musashi Handmade Iaido Iaito Practice Katana Sword New Review

(More customer reviews)For anyone interested in purchasing an Iaito (a practice, unsharpened katana), this is not the sword for you. Although "iaido iaito" is in the name of the product, the sword itself is sharp. After calling Martial Arts Land (which has great customer service by the way), they confirmed the error in marketing this product as an "iaito", and will proceed to make changes. The sword itself is well put together; it feels sturdy. It was relatively easy to disassemble, and easy to put back together. The fittings are extremely plain, there are no markings whatsoever on the kashira/fuchi, and there is only a light "web" pattern on the Tsuba. Even so, it gives the sword a simple elegance. There are minor aesthetic issues, such as some black smudges on the habaki, a minuscule gap between the blade and the habaki on one side, suspicious-looking same... (see customer pictures for more details) but overall I was pleased with the quality of the product. However, as I was looking for an unsharpened blade to safely practice Shinkendo, I will be exchanging this with another, true iaito from Martial Arts Land.

(More customer reviews)Excellent quality for the price. The tsuka (handle) is very tightly wrapped. All fittings are also very tight. Very good weight, perfect for iaido. The saya (scabbard) is a bit lower quality (very light with a low quality sageo, wrapping cord) but it is more than sufficient for practicing and I would rather have the better quality sword than the saya. Would recommend and purchase again for myself or as a gift. Pleasantly surprised!!

(More customer reviews)Who needs a thousand dollar forge folded Katana with Tamahagane steel? We're not in the feudal ages where the impurities need to be pounded out, expensively at that. We have pure steel with 1% carbon with 2% tungsten added for even more toughness and keen edge durability. That's the beauty of T10. Came with the certy with a stamped serial number on the paperwork and a picture of the inner tsuka with the s/n stamped onto it. Genuine hamon as well. This Kill Bill is also a perfect thickness- no need to buy a really thick battle sword when you have T10 steel. I figured I'd treat myself to one NICE katana that can be used for cutting and as a show piece.[...]
BEWARE that there are many versions of this sword made of variant grades of steel. You want the T10 Bill Bill if you want the best, like me!
