(More customer reviews)I was probably 8 years old when my mother introduced me to "Fistfull of Dollars". To this day, they remain my favorite westerns. A couple of years ago, I was shopping for a Halloween costume, and I found a really cool leather black hat, and a matching black and white poncho. My mother happened to be with me at the time. When I put them on, she was like "they are totally you!". Problem with adult costumes is that most of them are designed for one night of fun. The other problem is that trying to find a cool looking gun in this day and age is next to impossible. In 2008, I was lucky to find a blue and white dart gun with a couple of holsters. I hate to say it, but it's the "little things" that make or break the costume. I started hunting around on the internet later, to find that these beautiful replicas actually existed, and not as costly as I thought they would be. I have seen exact replicas of the Colt 45 used in "Fistfull of Dollars" selling for $110. I decided not to copy Clint Eastwood, but create my own version of his persona. I just received the Pewter Denix "Peacemaker" replica, and it is everything I ever wanted as a child. I like the pewter because I wanted a gun that looked kind of weathered, not too shiny, but not completely dark either. This gun has the weight an feel of a real gun, The barrel spins, the hammer cocks, and there is a spring loaded firing pin on one side, but it is there for looks. The only difference from this gun and the Fisfull of Dollars replica is the snakes on the handle! The replica showed up on the exact date that amazon said it would. The gun comes in a small box that looks somewhat like a cigarette box that says www.denix.es made in Spain. I have also ordered a fancy leather gun/holster combo which is on it's way. I recommend this product to all of you who are sick of wasting a good costume with a silly toy gun that looks less than real. I am used to twirling cap guns over the years. This one has some weight, so I need to practice again! "My mistake, make that four coffins!" _Clint Eastwood.
