(More customer reviews)in general, ridge runner knives are considered great deals.they are inexpensive, don't fall apart, and get the job done. the reason i gave this knife three stars is that i feel it was designed pretty badly.the jimping on the blade is of course useless, but that's no surprise.what really ticks me off is this; the hendle scales get all sticky after a while, so that all the garbage youv'e touched sticks onto it, then sticks back onto your hand later.also, you'll notice that there's a metal piece that looks as though it's a continuation of the lanyard hole sticking out of the handle in exactly the wrong place. if you but hold it too hard, it will cut you. and it does't help that the arear between your thumb and forefinger has this odd talent of making bandaids not stick at all. also the handle swells at the ends and shrinks in the midlle. it's like they designed it specifically to annoy you. a handle is supposed to swell in the middle and taper down at the ends.
