(More customer reviews)Got this for my Scout bugler. He takes it on all camping trips and hikes. It is very light weight and easily hooks to a backpack. Has a good sound to it, too. My son was very happy to have it instead of lugging his full size trumpet along.
Only one problem.... the mouth piece! My son called it the cookie cutter because it is way to small for the instument and hurt when he was testing it out. Since he has a trumpet, he uses his old mouth piece for the bugle. It is easy to find trumpet mouth pieces at any music store - finding a bugle is the hard part! So I did not have a problem with this shortcomming.

Working bugle is constructed of brass and copper with an attached cap. 11 inches long.
