(More customer reviews)I've used one of these for 3 years on the job ( cutting rope, lines, tape,canvas and sometimes whittling softwood). The blade takes and holds a keen edge, and the knife has held up to daily cutting chores very well. Small enough to clip to or be carried in a pocket without feeling heavy or bulky, or causing any legal problems in my state ( though it's not the most politically-correct looking knife in the world...maybe an orange handle for us utility users would be nice!), -but long enough to get the jobs done without hacking away with a tiny blade.One-handed opening with the thumb stud is easy, and sure comes in handy when working one-handed on a ladder. After much use, the joint is still tight, and the liner lock snaps securely into place... not a throw-away knife.
