I wasn't expecting much since it was pretty cheap but the blade is not that dull because I just slashed my palm pretty deep and it was a clean cut, until blood started coming out. Its big and heavy, but thats the reason I got the sword. If you're thinking about buying it for practice of ornament of some kind then do buy; you're not going to regret it.
