(More customer reviews)This is the first full size sword that I have ever bought. Since then though I have purchased two more and plan to buy five more to fill the eight sword display rack that I have. This sword is without a doubt the best of the three.
The craftsmanship is first rate. I can tell that some love went into making these. I am proud with this being my first because it is such an amazing sword. I can honestly not find a single thing wrong with this sword un-like the other two that I now own. There are no flaws!
I love the width of the blade. I knew from reading other reviews that it was wide but I was still shocked by it when I first pulled it out from the sheath. The blade is perfect. No blemishes or scratches. The handle and sheath are both wrapped in a soft to the touch black leather and have no inperfections that I can find. So I certainly recommend it for those who are thinking about it. It's a great sword and you will not regret it. I love it!
Now some messurements for you.
38 1/4" with sword in sheath.
37" sword on its own.
28" sheath on its own.
10" handle (more than enough room for two hands).
1 9/16" wide blade (nice).
