(More customer reviews)Nice looking rack to hang a sword on. It is not made of hardwood. Close inspection will show minor mass production flaws. However this is not a big deal considering the cost of the item. The sword hanging in the rack is what counts. The rack compliments my iaido nicely. I do not have the wakizashi to match the sword. It is often hard to find a single sword hanger since most are made for displaying the katana and wakizashi.
Mine came with the medalion picturing the samurai and it is a nice touch. For any wood workers out there this rack can be easily patterned to replicate the design in a quality hardwood.
