(More customer reviews)Unless you're going to take on the Barbary Pirates in an actual sword fight, this will serve your purpose well. It's not, of course, the quality of an official sword, but the price difference $400+ vs $30 makes it worthwhile. I'm going to use the swords I bought as part of the individual POW/MIA and KIA table setup at the annual USMC Birthday Ball that is hosted by our Marine Corps League Detachment. I have to admit, though, that one thing that did bother me was the description that reads "...Uniform Officer NCO Sword". It's either an Officer's sword, or an NCO sword. However, knowing that the picture was what I wanted and being rather forgiving on non-Marines lack of knowledge thereof, I went ahead and made the purchase. I'm glad I did and will probably buy from this seller again.

The Blade of the sword is HQSS stainless steel. The scabbard of the sword is leather wrapped over steel. The guard of the sword is a full wrap guard with highly detailed leaves cast into the brass. This is the strength of pride.
