The stand that came with the swords did not work or stand up (it was a table top one) but this wall one he put up by TV in his bedroom, its very sturdy and strong easy to put together. I did it in about 15 minutes.

(More customer reviews)It arrived within a week and was easy to assemble (I used a hot glue gun for added strength)...5 parts 4 screws....it comes with 4 slots on the back for attaching to 4 more provided screws set in a wall....but I used a pair of Lumb-R-Grip's to attach it to a sturdy book shelf for now (this also allows a 9th sword to rest on the Grips)....It is narrow but had no problem handling a full load of LOTR replicas of the short to midsize variety, a spear, and a quarterstaff....

Single Sword Display Wall Mount Review

(More customer reviews)This item was delivered unassembled. No instructions were included, but it wasn't difficult to figure out (4 pieces, 8 screws).
If you look at the picture offered, the horizontal pieces are set into grooves cut into the vertical pieces. Also, the vertical pieces have no holes drilled into them from outside, distracting from the appearance. Looks nice doesn't it?
The delivered item, is missing these touches. The vertical pieces have 4 holes drilled through them, for the screws to be inserted to put the display together. This means it is also not nicely grooved to hold the horizontal pieces either. You will plainly see all 4 screw heads on each side when assembled.
Misrepresentation aside, the item was delivered timely.

On one side of it, it had random Japanese/Chinese written in gold paint. The stand is great and the other side is straight black so i'm not completely dissatisfied, I just wish I would have known about the writing before I bought it.

Deluxe 6Tier Wall Mounted Sword Display Stand W Samurai Review

(More customer reviews)I would never display a real sword on this trashy thing, let alone 6 of them. However, I only bought it for my bokkens and I guess it does the job.
The craftsmanship is sub-par. The little samurai guy is plastic and the factory worker who screwed mine on was either drunk to the point of being half blind or 4 years old. Re-seating the screws fixed that problem, though.
The other letdown was that the package came with wing nuts to hold the horizontal parts to the sides. Easy to assemble, sure. But they pretty much removed any class this thing ever dreamed of having. I'll be making a trip to the hardware store to replace those fasteners.
In conclusion, you get what you pay for. Or maybe not, because I've bought other small home furnishings for around $20 that put this junk to shame. It'll be OK with a little more work from me but seriously, don't buy this to display real weapons.

This one cost more than twice as much but I was glad to pay it because I thought I was getting a hardwood product, as the description said. Imagine my disappointment when I took it out of the box and noticed particle board showing in a corner where the paint had been scraped away. Be careful what you buy.

Fan Shaped Sword Stand (holds 13) - Valor 6049, Swords Accessories Review

(More customer reviews)The slots to insert the swords are only 2" wide. If you have fantasy swords, they will likely not fit. I will have to use power tools to open up the slots and paint it with india ink to get this display to work for even a single sword. I bought this item through 'cheap humidors" so I don't know if it would be different through different vendors, but it is the same item from valor 6049. There are 2 connecting pieces between the fans to stabalize them. The tongue and groove slots that are cut into the fan don't mate on 1 side, so only one stabalizer can be installed. The black laquer on the particle board was crushed/dented from shipping as it lay in a pile at the bottom of a cheap box that was held together by packing tape and not much else.
Buy a display stand that has adjustable slots to ensure that your swords will fit without the hassle of reengineering this thing from the ground up.

(More customer reviews)I was sorely disappointed with the quality of this item. I guess you get what you pay for but since it was the cheapest version of the same floor sword display that you see everywhere, I figured why pay more for the same item. Once I received the item I went to attach the 'stand' part to the bottom portion and found that the male pegs weren't lined up with the female slots on the bottom portion. The drilled out holes on the bottom portion were wider apart than the pegs were positioned on the 'stand' portion. Also the top portion which the sword actually rests in couldn't be forced into the hole at the top of the 'stand' part because the peg in the 'holder' was bigger than the hole it was supposed to fit into. Therefore, the entire display is completely worthless. This product is made/sold by Cutlery USA through Budk Worldwide so fair warning, mine was a poor quality defective. Someone is definitely asleep in the quality control/quality assurance department.
