(More customer reviews)I purchased this item assuming it was going to be a cheesy replica of the retractable spear in the AVP movie, but it turned out to be of a much higher quality, and the blades are very real (and very sharp). I used this spear as part of a Predator Halloween costume (from the recent "Predators" 2010 movie). I used hot glue to cover the blades (so as not to accidentally Shish-ka-bob any small "Trick-Or-Treat-ers". I highly recommend this retractable spear for adults, but it's definitely not for children. I gave this 5 stars, but if it retracted at both ends like the one in the AVP movie, it would get 11 stars! :-) Great product! It really helped add the right level of "danger" to my Predator costume!

Predator Mask Review

(More customer reviews)I'm a die-hard Predator fan, and though AVPR is my least favorite movie, I still HAD to get this mask due to its extremely reasonable price. It took about 5 days to get here, and the package was pretty heavy. When I opened it I discovered that it looked exactly like it does in the picture, only problem was that it was a GREENish-Silver color. It's not a big problem at all, but I was expecting a dark, silver mask. Besides that, it is fairly small, but that's completely fine.
It comes with a strap which is useless, like everyone else says. This mask is WAY too heavy to wear. Besides, it looks fantastic as a display item on my wall. Well worth the money! :)
Would've been 5 stars if the color was correct.
