The Sword arrived very quickly,and in perfect condition. The tsuba is beautifull and the blade came oiled,the sword bag is of good quality(twice as thick as others i have seen)it offers wonderfull protection. The box is beautifull, downside is its made of balsa wood and is packed with styrafoam and lined in nylon(beautifull work,cheap materials.The scabord fits the blade perfectly, and its obvious the sword was sharpened by hand.THIS HOWEVER IS NOT BATTLE READY. If you are planning to ride into battle with this sword dont, you will get cut down.The sword is a perfect sword for practice,and maybe the occasional cutting test, but I wouldnt overdo it.All and all for what any of you could possibly need it for, its perfect.

If you are looking for the perfect katana to give as a gift to someone, this is a perfect katana for it! Coming with the sword is a sword display stand to showcase such an elegant piece. Also included is a black cotton sword bag to keep the item in if desired, and it comes in a red and black gift box that will keep the katana safe when not on show. The katana itself has a27.5 inch blade of 1045 carbon steel. This blade has been hand sharpened so take caution with it! An 11 inch handle features a Japanese black silk cord wrap over the real rayskin wrapped tsuka (handle). The handle is double pegged for security. The saya (scabbard) has been done in a nice glossy black reflective lacquered finish with a black sageo (cord wrap around scabbard). The tsuba (guard) is two tone in color and a square design. The tsuba provides a black backdrop for two samurai warriors locked in a duel and done in a gold tone finish. 40.5 inches overall length.
