This is not a product review, but review of THIS LISTING. The description said 3 mats, but it will only ship 1 mat with a label "3 pieces". When I try to contact customer service, no one replied. I ended up returning the item because I wasn't going to pay $20 for a $7 mat.

Up for sale is 3 pieces Tameshigiri cutting tatami mats specially made for cutting purpose. The mats are constructed by woven straw, and each one of them is measured at 72" x 39".Instructions for using the Mats:1. Roll mats as tightly as possible and tie off.2. Soak the mats in water for twenty four hours.3. After the mat has been rolled, tied and soaked it should be about the width of a mans thigh.4. Mount on a cutting stand and enjoy.
