(More customer reviews)I'm a professional in teaching the art of sword technique & like to collect long swords ( Chinese & Japanese weapons).I was looking for the affordable ones for my students to practice. It looks nice from the picture. But, when you got it, it's a piece of junk. It's not worth to buy. It's a defected one when they sent to me also. Only for decoration! It's not FULL TANG. The blade & handle are screwed together by an aluminum male-female sockets. For a couple of full swings you would break it into halves.
Please don't bother to purchase this one!

Beautifully colored handle and golden tassels The nodachi sword or no-dachi features a traditional hand braided wrap, a blackened steel tsuba and pommel along with beautiful yellow tassels. This amazing sword is crafted of stainless steel, in order to replicate as closely as possible the composition of the blade. The nodachi measures an extraordinary 5 feet 7.5 inches overall with a full tang blade that measures 38" long which continues an extra 29.5 inch into the handle. The diameter of the steel tsuba is 3 inches and it is hand made.
