(More customer reviews)Gladius was the sword used by Roman legions (Centurions and soldiers). This is in fact a Centurion sword replica. I can understand why for marketing purposes it is better to describe it like that, as oppose to simply a "Roman soldier sword". The details in the sword are very good, the stainless steel blade is excellent and the traditional humble - but elegant - decorations in the grip and sword cover are similar to those used by legions during the 12th Caesars era.
